EPCOR Power Equity Ltd. announces appointment and resignation of directors
EDMONTON, Alberta - February 15, 2008 - EPCOR Power Equity Ltd. (TSX: EPP.PR.A) (the Company) announced today that W. J. (Bill) Kenny has joined the Company's Board of Directors as an independent director. Bill Kenny is a Partner at Miller Thomson LLP, one of Canada's largest national law firms.
The Company also announced the resignation of Robert J. (Bob) Normand as a director of the Company, effective February 15, 2008. Mr. Normand's decision to resign from the Board is a result of potential conflicts arising from a recent appointment to a Board of another publicly traded entity.

Bill Kenny is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a founding Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers. During the past four consecutive years, Lexpert Magazine has listed him as one of the 500 Leading Lawyers in Canada in both commercial litigation and construction law. He was also listed as one of the Best Lawyers in Canada, 2007, for Construction Law, Corporate and Commercial Litigation, Director and Officer Liability, Insurance Law, Bet the Company Litigation, and Securities Litigation. He is a past member of the Law Society of Alberta Audit, Finance and Insurance Committees.
